Transfer or Delete Call recordings from VICIdial and Goautodial

In this tutorial, I will explain you the steps to manage and delete your voice recordings in VICIdial and Goautodial server. You must check your server disk storage at random times and when they are full, you will need to transfer or delete the recordings for the proper functioning of VICIdial or Goautodial server. For this tutorial, I will use a FTP Program named WinSCP. You need to download and install to your PC. Here is the Download Link.

Step 1: Open WinSCP and click on New Site. The username and Password here refers to the root username and password of your VICIdial server. Fill the required details and click on Login. Here is a screenshot.

Step 2: After a small authentication, you will be connected with the server and you will be able to visually navigate in the server file system. Navigate to this folder, var/spool/asterisk/monitorDONE. This is the folder where all your recording are saved.

You can then download or delete the files with simple ui options. It’s that simple..
